Broken spokes or a bent rim on a fat-tyre e-bike, and that's what most shops say. The original seller may just tell you to replace the whole hub motor. Many shops only sell bikes and don't know fat-tyre construction, and imported bikes are even harder to get fixed.
Hub motors put out a lot of torque, so slightly uneven spoke tension means spokes snap again soon. Wheel building is skilled, slow work; one motor wheel can take three to four hours.At WOOF, this is what we do every day.

Wheel building and heavy-gauge spokes
Wheels rebuilt for e-bike torque, with optional heavy-gauge spokes so they last. We fix broken spokes and bent rims, and every wheel is measured with a dial gauge for roundness and runout.

The colours you build above are what we can paint for you. Special colours, two-tone, gloss or matte are all possible.
Pairs with wheel buildingFull strip-down service
The whole bike is stripped, cleaned, inspected, lubricated and re-torqued, fixing the small issues that build up over time.

What people ask most before buying or booking a repair.
Why choose a fat-tyre e-bike?
Pedal assist makes hills, headwinds and long commutes much easier, and 4-inch fat tyres grip well and soak up bumps on gravel, grass and sand. They also look like retro dirt bikes, so you can paint them, swap tyres and add parts to make them your own.
Why buy an e-bike from WOOF?
Our core business is bicycle design and manufacturing, with over 25 years in the industry, from frame design, 3D modelling and structural development to assembly and full-bike testing. We recommend the setup that fits how you ride, and the same team handles repairs, upgrades and custom work afterwards.
Where can I buy your bikes?
Through our online store and our stores, and some models on momo. Stores are in Luzhou, Xinyi (Taipei), Nantun (Taichung) and Xinxing (Kaohsiung); addresses are listed above under Stores.
Are prices public?
Yes, every model has a public price. For current prices, stock or offers, messaging us is fastest.
Are you an authorised dealer?
Yes. We are an authorised dealer for CYBERCYCLE, SEIC, COSWHEEL, A-SPADZ and LITZMO, with prices listed above. Warranty, repairs and upgrades after purchase are all handled here.
Can I bring a bike I didn't buy from you?
Yes. Fat-tyre bikes bought overseas or online, or ones the original seller couldn't fix, are welcome, especially wheel problems like broken spokes and bent rims. Send us photos for an assessment.
Can you really paint the colours on the site?
The 3D colours are a preview; final colours follow our physical paint chips. Send us your build and we'll confirm it's doable, with a quote and lead time.
